The Distress of Societal Mass Halucination

Interesting how people go by their day like zombies. The frustration, the resentment and the marginalized existence of young professionals caused a certain kind of calcification among people and programmed a belief system that they'll never be good enough, that the greener pastures are everywhere else but here in our country, in our community, in our home.

The compartmentalization of ideas, prostitution of creativity to mass media and compromise of imagination kept everyone enveloped in a cocoon of lies. People have been fed with green leaves of controversial lies such as the famous green movement to counter global warming and bring awareness to follow the clicheish 3 R's - reduce, reuse, recycle. Only to find out that the hidden agenda when you "scratch" the surface, that the nobility is actually a novelty that commercialism and media exploited and has taken advantaged of. It became a trend, a fad, a jargon, a way to milk more money, more resources, to police society and stamp almost everything as socially incorrect.

Paying for a cause is okay. It's part of the natural law of giving and receiving. However, are the ones brainwashing the young minds and the zombies (people who refused to observe with critical minds) really giving back? Or is this just another pretentious scheme that rides on commercialism than really do things from the heart?
